Terms & Conditions

1.Who we are & acceptance

Deadly Dispatch is operated by Monochrome Ltd ("Monochrome", "we", "us"), a company registered in Malta. By accessing deadlydispatch.com, or by purchasing or playing the game, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or the game.

2.The game & your licence

Deadly Dispatch is a digital game. A single one-time purchase unlocks all base levels included with the game. Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to play Deadly Dispatch for your own personal, non-commercial use. We and our licensors retain all rights in the game that aren't expressly granted to you here.

3.Purchases & payment

Purchases are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record and seller for your transaction. This means your payment contract is with Paddle, and Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase. Prices are shown at checkout and include any taxes Paddle is required to add for your location. After a successful payment you receive an entitlement that unlocks the game.

4.Access & entitlement

Because we don't run user accounts, your purchase is tied to a credential from your Paddle transaction, which the game exchanges for a signed entitlement token stored on your device. Keep your purchase receipt — if you change device or clear your data, you can restore access using your Paddle order details, and we're happy to help at support@deadlydispatch.com. Please don't share, resell or attempt to forge entitlement tokens.

5.Refunds

Deadly Dispatch is digital content delivered instantly, so purchases are generally final. As a goodwill exception we offer refunds for purchases made by mistake if you tell us within one hour. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

6.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

7.Availability & discontinuation

Deadly Dispatch is currently in beta. Features, levels and content may change, be added or be removed as we develop the game, and we don't guarantee that the site or game will always be available or uninterrupted. We may carry out maintenance or updates at any time.

We intend to keep Deadly Dispatch playable for as long as we reasonably can, but we reserve the right to change, suspend or ultimately discontinue the game or any part of it — such as its online features — at any time. If we ever decide to retire the game for good, we'll aim to give reasonable notice beforehand, for example here or on the website, so you're not caught by surprise. As Deadly Dispatch is a one-time purchase there are no recurring charges to cancel, and any discontinuation won't affect your statutory consumer rights or any refund you're already entitled to. On top of that, if we permanently discontinue Deadly Dispatch within six months of your purchase, we'll refund what you paid.

8.Intellectual property

All content in Deadly Dispatch — including the game code, levels, artwork, audio, the "Deadly Dispatch" name and logos — is owned by Monochrome Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Aside from the licence to play granted above, you receive no rights to reproduce or reuse this content.

9.Third-party services

We rely on third parties to run the game, including Paddle (payments), Google Analytics and PostHog (analytics) and Vercel (hosting). Your use of those services through Deadly Dispatch is also governed by their own terms. How they handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

10.Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and the game are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

11.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Monochrome Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the site or game. Our total liability to you in connection with the game will not exceed the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your mandatory consumer rights.

12.Your consumer rights

If you're a consumer, nothing in these terms affects the statutory rights you have under Maltese and EU consumer law, including rights relating to digital content that is faulty or not as described.

13.Changes & termination

We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will change and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. We may suspend or end your licence to play if you materially breach these terms.

14.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and the courts of Malta have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence.
